This must be one of the earliest versions of the song. A rough track that they were feeling there way around. The hook isn’t even on the song yet as they have had everyone and there mama trying to come with the right hook. Beyonce, Mary, Neyo, Tre Songs, everyone. But I hear the final version requires approval from all parties including Jimmy Iovine. I trust when it comes…it WILL BE FIRE. I know Detox has moved in a slightly more dance club direction. You have to change with the times or you will sound dated. Classic Dre didn’t help Em or 50 there last go rounds, so expect something different from Dre. Can’t wait for the final version cause this was raggedy. Control your leaks Dre. Someone should be getting fired.

So…where’s the Detox song with Jay-Z and Dre I’ve been hearing about for the last two months? Also, where’s the music we’ve been waiting for in the form of a Detox album that has been talked about for roughly five or so years?

This surely can’t be it because as much as i love Dre beats, this production is terrible with regards to the hype surrounding the album. As much as I love Dre and Jay working together, this song is definitely their worst match-up to date.

I’m waiting for Snoop to appear and say “April Fools,” but I checked the calendar and it says June 16th.

Dear Dr. Dre,

Do not and I repeat, do not place this throwaway record on Detox. If you have anything in relation to this type of track on Detox, remove them instantly. I’m an admirer of all genres of music from Bach to Armin Van Buuren, but this isn’t music. It’s crap!

Sincerely

If this is what we can expect from the “Detox” album, this is very disappointing. Hopefully, this is a filler track & he’s saving the bangers for the album release. Like Jay said; “On To The Next One…”

How could any one like this song it sounds so tacky. This song must be on the Detox album there releasing at Marshell’s stores across the country. The hook on this is so bad I couldn’t listen to when Jay’s verse was done again. Dre is a perfectionist and if he still knows anything about something this track will not be a on bonus disk thats glued to the inside of your Lucky Charms® box this summer. Jay’s verse was only thing that kept me from throwing up in my mouth.

Interesting enough people judge a whole body of work off one song “leaked” at that and it turns into I dont want the album….?? pump ur brakes and stop being so cyncial and crititzing every little thing. Listen this part of the reason why they don’t care anymore. Sales down=take the fuckin product somewhere where ppl will buy it…..EVERYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE YOU CYNICAL PRICKS LOL and of course it doesnt have the highest quality BECAUSE ITS A SAMPLE ANUS LOL and you dont charge for the sample but that sample doesnt get u going so you need more.

And for the ones talkin about not getting detox based off this song and others, then please tell me in the last yr what albums you bought HIP-HOP wise that was better overall album and was worth the purchase.

And in conclusion stop being soooo quick to hate on and yes hate this wasnt constructive criticsm, cause you all went ALL OR NOTHING…..rarely was there a negative comment being followed by a positive one, so thats how I say its hate, BUT appreciate the fact 2 legends former current whatever, are still around to entertain you with music and culture of this thing we call “ours” Enjoy it while it lasts youngins cause when its gone, its GONE.

If that track is what we can expect to hear from Detox, then Snoop needs to supply Dre with a pound of his sweetest cheeba; i.e. the stickiest of the icky… pronto!

Either that or I’m certain that he’s old enough to obtain a referral for the medicinal grade smoke for his “cataracts” condition. (Let’s just say that I know a guy…)

My diagnosis is that Andre Young should immediately forgo his steroid consumption in lieu of herbal remedies for the time being, until the completion of his next magnum opus. Cause, this sobriety thing just isn’t working out for him.

BREAKING NEWS: This just in… I just received a call from Nate Dogg who advises Dr. Dre of the following: and I quote, “SMOKE WEEEED EVERYDAY!”
