It really doesn’t feel like a year has passed already. His death is just as surreal and shocking today as it was last year. I still can’t believe it.

it’s almost like he never left… with my 8 year old daughter running around blasting MJ every chance she gets!!! :)

It’s funny… it’s almost like a right of passage as a kid to go through a “Michael Jackson phase”… I went through it, now my daughter… I wonder how long this cultural tradition will continue… that’s what I call a legacy.

gone but NEVER forgotten. he made sure of that.

Its funny you said that cause i see so many lil kids doing the same thing. Mike’s influence over current artist is so great that children can identify with music Mike made over 20 years ago because it can still be heard in the beats, rhythm and lyrics of current songs.

This makes him a genius and mastermind if you ask me. More so even then Elvis( which really was not that great of a “artist” if you ask me). Mikes music will live on for much longer and have a greater impact on pop culture.

You can put on songs from Bad and Dangerous and they still sound modern and fresh years later. Never die
