BELIEVE ME, Michael Jackson has FAR more WHITE fans than black. watch ANY concert footage, memorial footage, fan footage, ANY footage etc… While his musical achievements may not completely overshadowed his public demons, it doesn’t make his talent any less impactful throughout history… Leonardo Da Vinci likely had sex with men, Van Gogh dismembered himself and mailed body parts to people, U.S. President Bill Clinton got head in the Oval office on YOUR tax dollar, Let’s not even get into Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Marylin Manson and the hosts of other “sick mothefuckers” that have heavily influenced this world we live in… all with BLACK and WHITE supporters. Let people support who they may for what influential reason they choose… because in the end, who are YOU to really to judge??? Would there even be a debate about whether or not YOUR talent overshadowed YOUR demons? Or would you just be a sick motherfucker with no fans or supporters at all? hmmmm….. I wonder.

I agree with you on most everything you said Roosevelt and I didn’t mean to turn it into a race thing wholly although in my personal experience conversing in person and online about Michael, I’ve always noticed that most black folks relentlessly defend him regardless of his history with children. It’s almost like people don’t want to see the person he really was…. A grown man sleeping in beds with other people’s children..male children…I’m sorry but when that line is crossed I don’t care what your accolades are and what contributions you made to music. You mess with children and you get written off.

He was a kid himself. Watch interviews, documentaries, whatever, you can tell from his behavior he was just a kid. Or one of the greatest actors i’ve seen. I really strongly doubt he could harm anyone, especially children. And its ‘Innocent til proven guilty’, right? Shame that thanks to the fuckin media and ignorance of some people it seems to be otherwise. And ask parents, who brought their kids there and let them sleep in a house of a man suspected to be a child molester – are they in support of that. Or maybe they’re just in support of getting themselves some serious money. One of the kids admitted after MJs death that he wasnt molested by him in any way and that his father told him to say so. But you dont hear that kind of stuff in the media so loud, cause disgracing someone’s name sells so much better. And bringing up race in this whole thing just sounds ridiculous to me.

I hope everyone will join me today in saying a prayer of gratitude for the wonderful gifts of LOVE that Michael bestowed upon us all. Today is not a day to be sad or mournful, but a day to give thanks and rejoice, that we lived during a time where we were able to personally bear witness to the talent and humanity of one of the greatest spirits and vessel of God’s LOVE in the history of mankind. Although my heart is still deeply wounded by his passing, the thanks and gratitude I feel for having been allowed to contribute to Michael’s life, art, and legacy provides me with hope and healing. God bless you Michael, and thank you for having been of, and giving to the world, not just in it.
