Things are not looking good for the clothing maker we love for their sexy ads, according to MSNBC:
The company, known for its signature T-shirts, sexualized ads and controversial chief executive, recently reported that its quarterly operating loss had more than quadrupled from a year earlier, and warned that it risks defaulting on a credit agreement. The news sent its stock price, already trading in the low single digits, tumbling. The Los Angeles-based company also has warned that it risks having its stock delisted from the Amex because it has repeatedly been tardy with its financial filings.
“American Apparel is unique because they’re on the cusp of a total collapse,” said Howard Davidowitz, chairman of the retail consulting and investment banking firm Davidowitz & Associates.
“Our company in the past has been through these types of issues before and it’s never really presented us with any particular difficulties in running our business,” CEO Dov Charney said in a conference call with analysts last month after the company reported a $17.6 million quarterly operating loss on sales of $121.8 million.
That’s not tight….

The company may not have the best sales with regards to their current financial debacle, but when it comes to marketing, they sure know how to get a message across.
I don’t know about shopping for their brand when I notice the ads, but the first thing which comes to mind is sex and that’s pretty much what the label is depicted as.
They had a campaign several months ago where you vote for the best butt from regular AA shoppers; of course your thong or underwear had to be AA, nonetheless that was an amazing campaign. Some were as cellulite riddled and of course they received low votes but a majority of women had the best in shape/perfect buns I’ve ever seen
i work for this company part time as I am currently a student in university. Our daily goals we have to reach have gotten drastically lower from last year and we are not meeting our weekly goals. In NYC the store was known as “the best kept secret” but now since everyone knows about AA its kind of a store thats lost its touch and was only really known for their tights, famous white string sweaters, and plain tee’s. Since the fame, they have (and still are) trying to move to other styles of clothing but thier expensive price tags and clothing material that do NOT add up to the cost of the item many customers end up going to Urban Outfitters or just any vintage shop with prices that does NOT kill your wallet..
Her azz looks great in this campaign lol
i like her.
That is a magnificent ass.
And that campaign for the best ass around the world was phenomenal.
