Check out this soundless video showing robotic hands lowering a cap over the BP oil spill which they hope will completely stop oil from spewing into the water. Here is the statement from the oil company:
“It is expected, although cannot be assured, that no oil will be released to the ocean for the duration of the test. This will not however be an indication that flow from the well bore has been permanently stopped.”

This has been going on far to long, this is just ridiculous. Several of these BP bigwigs need to go to jail for crimes against the environment. These people clearly did not have a plan in the event something like this were to happen. Where ever oil companies go they have caused damage to the environment, we have to find alternative forms of energy which do not harm the environment, we all play a role in this.
Should the individuals in America who sign the contract With BP get arrested to or only those from BP. Why not hold everyone accountable. Even the American workers who work for BP….Y’all crack me up with this nonsense.
i agree, American’s acting like they didn’t benefit from BP too, and will continue to benefit AFTER all this has been fixed…….typical!
And I do not know why people would throw mud at BP signs when BP Gas stations are privately owned by american citizens.

@ Jumpoff- it’s called accountability in case you have never heard of the word before.The problem is there is not a good track record of people being held accountable . The environment sustains us , when we harm it it has long term impact we cant begin to imagine…you crack me up with your devil may care attitude. Obviously corporations have more influence an control than we care to think about, unless we stand up them nothing will ever change jackass.
Do say we care to think about cause I know they have way more power than control than we know of. Listen man/woman the world we live in is a domino effect..when the dominos falling represent then corporation and government getting bigger and us and the environment being slaves to them and being destroyed. What you are trying to tell me is that we should pick the fallen dominoes up. What i am trying to let you know is that the damage is already done and we are just headed for a great downfall that no one is prepared for.
@ Jumpoff…I agree things are bad an have been for a very long time…in truth democracy is nothing more than an ideal we have yet to achieve, we are slaves in more ways than i care to think about. But we have the power, we out number them( them being the power structure) yet they make our lives a living hell generation after generation. We have a choice in the matter. The primary reason we have a conscience is help us bring about real change in the world. When we see stuff is not right we can’t just lay down an die an just give up. One of the reasons we are dumbed down an struggle so hard to get by is to distract us from whats really going down, if most folks in the world knew the real truth they would revolt.
I agree with you things are messed up beyond belief an things don’t look very promising…but human beings can do remarkable things once armed with knowledge. I apologize for calling you a jack ass that was uncalled for, am sorry.
