Well it looks like supermodel Naomi Campbell will be taking the stand after all in the war crime trial against former president of Liberia Charles Taylor which will take place in The Hague, Netherlands. Naomi has been asked to testify about an alleged ‘blood diamond’ the president gave her in 1997 at former South African President Nelson Mandela’s home. Taylor has been accused of using the diamonds to help fund turmoil in Sierre Leone. Campbell has stated in her interview with Oprah Winfrey recently that she doesn’t want to be involved with Taylor for fear something might happen to her family. Campbell will take the stand on July 29th
