Playboy has decided to shut down the Portugese branch of the popular men’s magazine after a photo shoot of Jesus hanging with nude models was released in a recent issue. According to the official statement:
“We did not see or approve the cover and pictorial in the July issue of Playboy Portugal. It is a shocking breach of our standards and we would have not allowed it to be published if we had seen it in advance. We are in the process of terminating our agreement with the Portuguese publisher.”

I’m not a bible thumper or anything but you shouldn’t poke fun of peoples faith when it comes to something that’s fundamental to it like this. It’s insensitive and sad. You can poke fun at religion but some things are just done in poor taste…like this picture…and your joke.
What really happened was the Portugese publisher was trying to start controversy to re energize the dead brand.
I really like this cover …it’s artistic…weren’t these the very people Jesus came back to uplift???…we need to an huge evolutionary leap in regards to religion, it’s holding us back in many ways.
