Looks like actor Wesley Snipes’ appeal for a prison sentence he received in 2008 has been denied. The actor was sentenced to three years in prison of misdemeanor tax charges. For the past two years Snipes has been on bail appealing the sentence, even getting celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Woody Harrelson to write letters on his behalf. It is not known yet where he will be serving his sentence.

I refuse to believe that only black celebrities don’t pay taxes. Every week we hear about another black celebrity owing taxes, there’s no way anyone can tell me they’re not being singled out! You mean to tell me that every rock, pop and reality star is paying all their taxes? I don’t believe it, times are hard and even they’re being forced to sell off assets but we’re to believe that they’re all paying taxes? On time? GTFOH!
However, Wesley Snipes played a silly game with the IRS, falling for that bullshit that we don’t have to pay taxes. So what I said doesn’t apply to Wesley because it wasn’t like he fell behind or neglected to pay, he straight up refused to pay.
