Lady Gaga has closed the gap and left no room for a Christina Aguilera. But Xtina can still survive if she sticks to doing what she does best which is SINGING. Leave the costumes and thatrics for the show and get back to giving us straight power vocals on the cd.
thats what she’s doing in this song, she has nothing to do with lady gaga. she was here and doing all of that before her. the comparison makes nos sense. this song is amazing. her career does’nt depend on lady gaga’s they are two different artist. people need to understand that.
Say what you will BUT she’s been influenced just as much by gaga, as gaga was by her. Christina, admittedly, pushed the envelope when she was winning. She however, did not push it as far as Gaga has. When she came back to the game, I’m sure that the executives were saying that she had to do “XYZ” in order to be competitive in this industry, at it’s current state. They gambled wrong, and she got caught out there looking like a gaga impersonator. Regardless of who started a trend, it’s owned by whoever does it best…at the current time.
Aguilera’s strength has always been in her vocals. Somewhere between Dirty, Moulin Rouge, and her time away from the industry, her team must have forgotten that.
Oh well…let’s her it for regrouping and refocusing on the talent!
Poor Aguilera, Lady GaGa dragged her off BillBoard and iTunes permanently.
