Ha! Very interesting observation by Drake in his new Paper magazine interview when asked about negative comments on blogs here’s what he said:
“I definitely haven’t said this before, but I stopped going on a computer. I have a problem where if I go read a hundred positive things about me and there’s one guy in there who says ‘I hate Drake’ that’s the one I pay attention to. I think that’s a common problem. Negativity hurts us more than positivity helps us. I asked about 10 or 20 people around me, ‘When’s the last time you went on a website and commented on something, like a song dropped and you went on and said, ‘That song is hot’ or ‘That song is terrible?’ And everyone I asked around me, whose opinions I respect, the people I love, were like, ‘I’ve never done that before.’ And these are all level-headed, intelligent people whose opinion I respect, so I just started saying to myself, ‘It takes a certain type of individual to really participate in a group discussion about someone else, especially if they’re going super hard with consistent hate.”
Yeah, we found out a long time ago all the cool people only comment on the.LIFE Files. Strange….

Isn’t Kanye a fan of this site, too? To be in a position of celebrity, it’s a given that you’re open to public scrutiny as well as positive feedback. It comes with the territory. Everyone has an opinion. For that matter, you will always have fans & critics, regardless of your chosen profession. It’s a part of life. You either learn to deal with it/cope or ignore it. The choice is yours.

He’s totally right. People write the most negative shit on blogs about celebs. It’s one thing to not like a song. It’s another to rant and rave about people you don’t know. Most people have miserable lives and have no money and dissing famous people makes them feel good.

I love Drake but he expects us (his fans) to listen to all of his lyrics, opinions, feelings and thoughts but he can’t take one bad comment like he expects everyone to love him…its so easy for someone to say “I hate Drake” with no merit or further explanation….you are in the wrong business if you can’t handle criticism, you have to put you’re whole life out in the public and not everyone is going to love what you bring to the table.

Narcissism at it’s best. Drake, do yourself a favor and get over yourself before the public does. His music is ok, nothing classic and long lasting. And with all these sensitive soft comments he’s making as a rapper, you’d think he’s trying to tell us something.
When will people realize that he is just a product of a brand! Products are just a result of comsumerism, marketing, and media! Thats why he can’t take any constructive critcism…he know that he can’ be real because thats against his contract! So…he’s being hated or liked similarly to a movie, a car, or any other product! I’m waiting to see if he’s an artist…feel me?
