Reggie Bush Will Give Heisman Trophy Back… Releases Statement!

by admin on 09/14/2010 · 2 comments

New Orleans Saints player Reggie Bush has confirmed that he will give his Heisman Trophy award from 2005 with a written statement.  Check it out below:

“Each individual carries the legacy of the award and each one is entrusted with its good name … It is for these reasons that I have made the difficult decision to forfeit my title as Heisman winner of 2005.”

“The persistent media speculation regarding allegations dating back to my years at USC has been both painful and distracting.  In no way should the storm around these allegations reflect in any way on the dignity of this award, nor on any other institutions or individuals.”

CRAZY!

They were going to take it regardless, I think what he did was the classiest thing to do. Now he can put a positive spin on it. The fact is MOST of America knows he’s being victimized for something that majority of the great football players we know have done, so everyone is going to get over this and he’ll come out on top. Besides that he now has a super bowl ring, his talent has spoken for itself.
