looks interesting.
hope it sparks a few inner revolutions in our men and women!
*yawns*
I hardly got what it is about. I don’t know the play and I surely didn’t get the story from this weak ass trailer.
Sounds like his same formula… black woman suffering cause she ain’t got no good man.
better than the other movies……thanks for stepping outside of the box (a little bit anyway) ….expand your boundaries ….some of us want to see something other than Madea …. 100%
Amen to that…this looks like it’s going to be good too
ikr! About DAMN time!
looks interesting. An all black cast too; its important to support our own. People can say whatever they want about tyler and his films, but he’s the only one doing it like this right now, hopefully he can set the pathway for others to follow.
Can’t wait to see it. Looks great.
this looks phenomenal!
I can see why Mariah opted out
cautiously optimistic about this…..
I regret not reading this book( note to self read this book asap)…the trailer gives me nothing , but some sad depressed, angry sisters…i am thrilled to see so many african american actress working… even though am not a fan of tyler perry’s films i will watch the ones that will hod my attention..
I was in this play 20 years ago so im interested to see what they do with it. Great cast.
does anyone else get a “Women of Brewster Place” vibe?
” women of brewster place”( who wrote that book?) takes us back to 80′s ? ..well this feels more modern…but yes kind of similar… focusing on the realities of black women in america…the industry only seem to make films with an all black female cast once in a blue moon…the last one was ” waiting to exhale”…i hope tyler starts focusing on books an screen plays by people who write better than he does.
Where’s Angela Basset?? You know she shuts a movie down.
This is a GREAT MOVIE which I just saw. To All the “HATERS” – that is why you are where you are and Tyler Perry is where he is — GET OVER IT!!!!
GREAT MOVIE WHICH DESERVES AN OSCAR!!1
