We want to know what you think about this one, somebody might get arrested. According to MSNBC:
A father who took matters into his own hands after his daughter told him other children were harassing her has caused some troubles of his own. James Jones, 42, is facing two misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing a school function following his tirade on a Florida school bus on Thursday.
Jones, who is out of jail on bond, admitted he is at fault for storming into the school bus, police said. “It was a mistake. I made that mistake (and) I’m trying to pay for that. I’m worried about my daughter, that’s all I’m worried about,” he said.
“This is my daughter, and I will kill the (expletive) who fought her,” Jones said on the video.
Jones says that his 13-year-old daughter, who suffers from cerebral palsy has even has condoms thrown at her while on the bus. The two adults on the bus who were supposed to be monitoring the kids didn’t speak English….

This father was way out of line an should have handled this matter in another way.
I do understand where he is coming from, kids can be incredibly cruel. Four teenagers have recently killed themselves here in MN, three of the four were believed to have killed themselves because they were being bullied at school for being gay.
This young lady suffers from Cerebal Palsy…..explain to me, psychiatrist/bullying expert how is she going to defend her space against a able-bodied pre-teen? This man is got tired of children bullying his child and snapped. I believe he is within reason and should not be arrested.
Maybe we’re in the minority, but I agree 10000000%!
I would do the same. In fact when my sister was getting bullied i gripped little girls by the neck and told them if she ever comes home crying again i would kill them and their family.
No shame. Fuck shame. I want my sister alive.
i agree with you….that man did nothing wrong, obviously the people on the bus cant handle it, so he has to
Would it have been better to react with intellect instead of emotion, yes. Now he has placed himself in a predicament. Regardless, think first. If he had an issue he should not have put her back on that bus
until he got reassurance
from school and authorities that his daughter would be safe. He did not do that . We have to be more wise as parents especially in this day and time. Intellect…not Emotion. Peace
I agree with Faleminus…the psychiatrist also said the parent should take her off the school bus if its not safe. NO. the kids doing the bullying should be removed.
I would like to say I would remain calm and level headed in this situation, but now a days with bullies becoming increasing violent and children committing suicide, I probably would have had the urge to do the same.
What he should have done was had the little bastards arrested and brought up in not only criminal but civil rights charges as this young lady suffers from a disability!!!
This is also quite a problem…that needs to be addressed…
“The two adults on the bus who were supposed to be monitoring the kids didn’t speak English…”
He should have handled it another way. But I respect him a lot for handling it the way he did. You best believe NO ONE will mess with his daughter from now on.
cosign Faleminus, this “expert” believes he should take the correct course but he, and history has already shown that’s not working. If there was no system in the school to deal with bullying, he gave them an excuse to start one…. is he supposed to wait and slap himself silly if his daughter decides to…(lord forbid)
First of all, to all who say the man should have went to the school and had them do something. The school had two non English speaking people, watching Enlish speaking kids. So even if the girl complained they would not know what she was talking about, and they could not understand if she was being insulted anyway. If you listened to the news man, he said the dude complained to the school about it. Its time for some action. The only thing in my opion the the man did wrong, was not yanking up one of those bastard and beating the little twerp into a comma to set an example for the rest of the basterds.
