We know, it’s been a while. Adrienne sat down with Bilal backstage moments before he performed for a packed house in New York City as he promotes his first album in 4 years Airtight’s Revenge. Bilal who quickly became a favorite before taking a break from the scene talks how he’s been doing “regular life stuff”, tells us why the term Neo-Soul gets “two thumbs down” and recalls recording one of his biggest hits, “Fast Lane” with Dr. Dre. Bilal also lets us know what we should expect on this new album which will feature him making serious songs touching on more personal topics.
