damn. the nigga is trying to be honest with his audience – honesty is the true definition of artistry and look how you so called patrons reject it. ^^^^^^^ @ all of the hater posts above. WOW.

even casual deconstruction of the piece above shows you that it’s not frivolous – but an honest potrayal of an artist who is critical of himself in regards to who he’s allowed himself to become.

logic would dictate that the nigga gets the benefit of a doubt as an artist – after all, how many dope albums has he given you. He’s been one of the few artists to consistently buck trends and go in his own direction. He took rap away from grimy/thug shit. when rap niggas started copying him he made an almost experimental album – 808s. he’s consistently signing niggas – dope niggas – who no one else will fuck with – singlehandedly keeping cultural diversity in mainstream urban alive. Now he’s trying to progress and these crab in a barrel niggas are still trying to box him in.

i really think you niggas love to complain. when the music is wack you niggas complain. when it’s over your head – instead of trying to get there and understand it, you niggas complain. WTF.
