She is NOT friggin EMACIATED people need to get a grip. Google EMACIATED if you don’t know what it means. I hate how just being anything below a size 10 is evil now. YES, some girls have low self esteem and starve themselves and are completely brainwashed into thinking thin is the only standard for beauty but why does that mean it’s WRONG for other girls who CAN’T HELP IT to be a size zero? I have a super fast metabolism and I am a size zero and I love my body. My ribs aren’t sticking out, I don’t look like someone locked me in a closet and didn’t feed me for days, and this isn’t body dysmorphia talking, I get complimented on my size and shape all the time (I’m relatively short so I guess I’m curvier). People should just get a grip. I’m all for “all women are beatiful/regardless of shape and size/big is beautiful too/blah blah blah” but if you seriously consider THIS emaciated, you’re an idiot.

Maybe, MAYBE she HERSELF is not sick, but showing these images anywhere and pretending that it looks good, that this is the size an ADULT woman is SUPPOSED to be to look good? THAT is what’s sick. That this is a standard is sick and sickening. These IS a middle way between all the extremes and this ain’t it.

As a 21 year old female who naturally has a similar body type, I now feel ashamed of the way I look because I’m naturally thin and don’t have big tits and ass, so I guess I’m a prepubescent boy. I really appreciate the boost in self-esteem your comments have given me. Putting down another body type in favor of our idea of what a ‘real woman’ (which last time I checked I was) is DOES NOT change the current obsession with body weight among young girls and women, it only makes it worse
