music dudes often go right from the studio to the club and they always have the laptop in the studio so that explains why the laptop was with him. also, he might DJ – and obviously DJs spin from their laptops.
i’m a cynic but it sounds like he probably has more nekkid pics of cassie on there and he needs those back ASAP.
in that case, it sounds like he’s not encrypting his files. I use BitLocker Drive Encryption. Then I use another piece of encryption on top of that – but then I run a business off my laptop and have sensitive 3rd party data on my shit.
