This type of shit is exactly why I hesitate to support most high fashion houses contrary to the hypnotic chants of most of today’s pop music… Call me old school conservative, but I find this androgynous type shit morally destructive.

Cross dressing is not what majority of people do. When it is done by a minority…the minority are then made to feel by the majority as if what they are doing is wrong.
Bullying people, judging people, calling them names, suggesting that their harmless act of dressing a certain way or living a certain way that in no way impinges on the lives of the majority is morally destructive is what is actually destructive.
The majority of people are conservative and boring and straight.

If you want your son, or the young men in your community to grow up with the mindset that it’s ok to cross-dress, then that is your shortcoming… do or say nothing about imagery such as this… But if it is your intent to provide an atmosphere for future generations that has CLEAR lines between what it means to be a MAN, and what it means to be a WOMAN, then you would not promote the likes of such ridiculousness, minority or not. and besides, I wouldn’t consider an icon such as Marc Jacob a part of the un-influential minority anyway. He represents a movement… identified by @Life Files themselves by labeling it a “Bold Statement” instead of a “complete absurdity”.

I do not have a son but what I do know is that if you take boys between the age of 10 -17, 95% will know Lebron James or Alex Rodriguez and idolize a sportsman. I doubt even if 5% can identify Marc Jacobs.
Jacobs is influential in the Fashion World and boys who are into sports and girls have no interest in the Fashion World and they do not read fashion magazines or the Life Files and the thought of Cross Dressing has never crossed their minds. A small minority of boys do care about fashion and Marc Jacobs and maybe even cross dressing … so what?
The vast majority still conform to gender roles defined and accepted by society. Are 5% gay people so powerful that they can convince 95%straight people to change their sexuality?
Umm Anita, artist like Kanye West are slowly introducing 10-17 year olds to people like Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen. change doesn’t happen overnight and the gradual acceptance of homosexuality will lead to a society with no boundaries. it will affect every aspect of life and you will soon see where this all leads. we all have free will but its comes with a price. the fact that you cant see that is sad.

That picture of Mark is hilarious!! I have nothing but respect for anyone who lives their life in truth. The real cause of the moral decay of our society is LIES and greed. Our society perpetuates the “down low” lifestyle because most people would rather those who are different to conform to regular standards, even if it means lying, decieving, and ruining other lives.
