Kanye West
hit the Today Show to discuss his reaction to George W. Bush’s earlier interview with Matt Lauer…. and lets just say Kanye didn’t feel too well about Matt Lauer playing back the Bush interview or the Taylor Swift MTV VMA’s incident on video during his interview. WOAH!

umm….ye…r u ok?
wtf man!?
why didnt u just say that (considering the majority of the people affected in new orleans were black…) that he is racist? maybe he isnt ,maybe he is. you felt like that. we felt like that. THE WORLD FEELS LIKE THAT! it wasnt cool. it wasnt dealt with like it should have been. like that other state (cant remember right now) that had a horrible natural disaster but it was dealt with quick! and its majority white. it was racist why are u holding back!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuck that its nothing wrong with dealing with your own race first. an ant isnt going to help a fly first if an ant is struggling with the fly. u see all the rappers got money up and sent it out to our people. why the fuck couldnt the government drop what its doing and help them. you lost me on this interview homie. say what u feel next time its better that way. your a rapper! you can be emotional. you dont have to be PC all the time fuck them! either they come around to recognizing their fucked up mindset or they deal with us still frustated over it. it wont change until they change. and not helping new orleans showed there mindset. it could have been dealt with better. im more mad u didnt say whats on your mind…………………….frustated!

totally agree w/u…this major opportunity w/the world watching, was not something ‘ye should have taken without consulting people who are more qualified than he to deal with the likes of Bush and Matt…all he had to say was “the pres is wounded by what i said…hmmm, well Matt the people of New orleans are still wounded and angry why the gov’t did not perform for them in their time of extreme need. its not for me to forgive you. If the people of NO say i should apologize for what I said, then i will consider it, but only they can make that decision for me…” But if i can offer the president a bit of advice from my first single “thru the fire” & “jesus walks”…listen to my song and understand where i come from and my impact on the world, then youll understand why my reaction to pain, suffering and death in new orleans was responded to in my words “u dont like black people”. do the likeable thing for new orleans mr president….cmon ‘ye!! its too late in the day for that bs u expressed….

the biggest reason why he didn’t say what you said is because it is not fact that Bush is racist, it is an opinion.

and not everyone, or even most people, agree with it.

you see what I am saying? if it was absolute truth, or even a truth most people thought was true, he could have EASILY said what he wanted.

whether you (or I) feel that Bush is or isn’t “whatever” is an opinion. and it is not wildly held.

As for the government and conspiracy theories… I’ll save that for another post.

f-it, i don’t agree with his approach to it but I really appreciate that Kanye’s an assh*le… love that sh*t. F Matt Lauer… why should anyone sit there and show respect when the person they’re sitting across from hasn’t earned it!

Kanye is a dumb ass for responding and breathing life back into these old scandals. If you’re gonna be an asshole then be an ASSHOLE!! But don’t try to back track once shit hits the fan. Kanye lost maaaaaad points. He may even self destruct before 50 does.

Kanye, man, you cant be scared to be who you are and thats an outspoken person. Lauer and the rest of white world wants you to cop a plea but that shit is the truth. If that man wasn’t no racist he damn sure was actin like one.

I dont think you should have said sorry, not in the least. He was the president and his reaction was not PRESIDENTIAL…it was racist. Let a blizzard have hit Vermont or a massive flood in Seattle.

Thats why i dont fuck wit white people, you need to take a page out of chris rock book homie!!!

And what about what bush’s mom said about the ppl in new orleans.

Fuck white ppl and Uncle toms like Obama

Fuck Matt for trying to belittle Kanye & put words into his mouth. No, what Kanye was trying say was exactly what he said – Though his words may have been harsh to Bush/Swift, he meant what he said…and millions of people felt the same way.

Lauer is the one who comes off as the disrespectful asshole here, not Kanye. Kanye felt like he was backed into a corner, yet again, and didn’t want to create yet another shit-storm. Thus, responding the way he did. Fuck Matt Lauer, trying to act all high & mighty.

Kanye is an emotional guy with an ego ..lol He lets these white folk get up all in his head. In both instances of the Bush and MTV thing, he said what most black folk where thinking. He represented us. If I was in Kanye’s shoes, I wouldn’t have apologized for any of it. I wouldn’t have said it like the way Kanye did, but those topics needed to be addressed.

Kanye is stupid. He dosnt even know how to apoligize properly. He just runs off at the mouth saying whatever….before thinking. People during Katrina are STILL waiting yes waiting for help. Get up off your butt, dig down and stand strong and get busy helping your damn self.

3:55 Kanye was the pupil and Lauer was the teacher. Why couldn’t just maybe one of those Iraq or Afghanistan deaths be one of Bush’s low points, what about when they didn’t find the WMD’s.

Kanye should’ve tweeted that he was pissed they didn’t show his Lanvins.

Kanye, how you gonna get punked by a white man that was sleeping with a transsexual on the side?

And for that paper, look how low we a’stoop
Even if you in a Benz, you still a nigga in a coop/coupe

yo seriously?!! everybody talking about being GLAD he’s an asshole, kuddos to that, stay true to who you are, can shut the hell up….. wake up people, being an asshole is nothing to praise, Kanye speaks so ignorantly, he cant even gather his thoughts and i could tell what he was trying to express better than he can word them! First of all, he’s an entertainer… who gives a FUCK what he thinks about anything pertaining to politic?! Second, taylor won and beyonce didnt… bottom line… so mother fuccccckkkk kanye’s opinion on that again!!! It was the MTV award homie… not the BET awards! So GTFOH with that shit!!!
