This photo was captured yesterday at the Denver International Airport as TSA agents performed enhanced pat downs of passengers going through security. The extensive style of searches by the TSA has been coming under scrutiny according to the Denver Post:
Despite ongoing criticism from some Washington lawmakers and many travelers, Transportation Security Administration chief John Pistole refused Wednesday to back off the agency’s position that tougher airport screening techniques are needed to counter evolving threats.
“I’m not going to change those policies,” he declared to lawmakers.
At U.S. airports, the TSA has been deploying more advanced imaging scanners that perform a kind of electronic strip-search on passengers and allow screeners hidden in control rooms to search the images for concealed weapons and explosives.
And in recent weeks, TSA screeners also have escalated the pat-down procedure on passengers in a way that some say is far too intrusive.

No joke, there was a pedophile hired by TSA who was operating the body scanners.
I hate the extra thorough pat downs too….now I have to leave my weed and e-pills at home when I fly. But nfortunately these are the times we’re living in. Terrorism is very real and none of us want be blown out of the sky cause some fanatic was rocking dynamite panties.
man chances are much much much lower then getting randoml mugged and shot even is posh housing areas. those air marshals could be used much much better on the streets. all this shit is fucking ridiculous and although I hate the people who cry Big brother/ illuminati and other conspiricy theories I really can’t think of a good explaination.
Anyways seems to be alot of (just IMHO) controvercy so lets see how long this will hold.

What’s wrong with people? We want to be protected right? Now if someone gets pass we’re going to look to blame the TSA. Just sit back and let them do what they need to do. You don’t want the pat down go throught the scanner. Don’t want that? Then stay your behind home!

It’s an intrusion into your civil rights and as posted above terrorism is statisticly unimportant, and for example the naked scanners have and showed that the NSA broke there promise (no pictures will be stored) and are plain lazy and didnt properly protect pictures of naked people (wired has a gallery of 100 of them)
Even if those naked scanners had been implace during christmas intruding into thousands of people’s privacy the bomber would have gotten just as far because the naked scanners can’t look through skin.
Also I don’t belive the NSA is acting to protect the people as much as to protect there own nice jobs.
Comply with the new security procedures or take Greyhound or Amtrak. Its that simple! I don’t care what kind of false security has you entitled fools believing that its unlikely airlines will be terror targets again. On 9/11/01 the entire world witnessed what they’re capable of. So go through the scanner, endure the patdown or take a hike! point blank!
i actually went through both the pat down and the new scanner (where u have to put your hands in the shape of a diamond above your head) at the atl-hartsfield airport last weekend. it was so uncomfortable and embarrassing and time-consuming. shit pissed me off so hard. going through the scanner i was laughing because the shit was so ridiculous to me. i honestly felt like it was some sort of profiling because im young black was wearing a cincinatti reds hat w/ a matching fire red sweatshirt straight black levis n matching js. maybe they assumed id have some weed or peraphanelia on me cuz i did hear them talking behind me sounding so surprised the guy who searched me didnt find me.lol. crazy thing was all the security people i dealt w/ were black too.lol
The radiation that is emitted from those body scanners is the same amount found in a solar flare. Not only is your government poisoning you but they are demeaning and degrading you in the process. Americans are losing their liberties all in the name of “terrorism”. Everyone in this country is basically guilty until proven innocent. SMH
