Google Gets Sued For A Whole Dollar For Trespassing

by admin on 12/06/2010 · 8 comments

Funny enough a couple named Aaron and Christine Boring have just won a lawsuit they filed in 2008 alleging Google Street View violated their rights by having images of their home despite a sign that read “Private Road No Trespassing”.  The couple was paid $1.

“That is one sweet dollar of vindication,” the Borings said in a statement released by their attorney, Gregg Zegarelli.

My question is, why would a court spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars in taxpayer money to settle a case for a lousy $1
