Stern joined Sirius XM in 2006 in a five-year deal valued at $100 million annually. That price tag was for the show, meaning that it also covered costs of Stern’s morning program and salaries for his team. Still, Stern himself was likely taking home over $40 million a year.

Whats the point in giving someone that much money even if its for for the production/ payment of employees etc still he’s getting a crazy chunk of that money in the end. its so foolish to me he will never spend it all and to think that we have so many dying and hungry people in america and this is what they do with money throw it away on bs radio it amazes me truly. this is why i dont listen to him or ryan or support people who have stupid amounts of money and hasnt gained it by being a contructive person in soicety.

It sucks but if the millions of mindless sheep are willing to see these people perform then they should be compensated accordingly. Imagine what the corporations rake in instead of the employees and therein lies the problem. This world is turning in on itself and it’s because of currency & greed.

He has earned every penny he made… the homeless are that way because they want to be… you drop out of school or choose to drugs that’s their problem… Show me someone with a PhD who isn’t mentally unstable that homeless!!! I listen everyday! He’s worth every penny… no wack ass music, no commercial break every 5 minutes… no annoying DJ”s blowing rappers on the air (i.e. Angie Whoretinez). Real interviews and original ideas!!! The only other person that comes remotley close is Star and Buck… and not even Buck just Star! I wish he could get a SiriusxM deal too!
With $500 Million he can pay his staff, feed a couple small countries, buy a sports franchise, and have some good ol’ Allen Iverson tricking money left over! WTF!!! Only in Greedy Ass America. But hey, don’t hate the radio jock (player), hate the large corporation (game).
