Somebody’s joke just became an actual news headline, according to the report out of Washington:
A US environmental group has found that drinking water in 35 American cities contains hexavalent chromium, a probable carcinogen, The Washington Post reported Sunday. The study by the Environmental Working Group — the first nationwide analysis measuring the presence of the chemical in US water systems — is to be made public on Monday, the daily reported.
Hexavalent chromium has long been known to cause lung cancer when inhaled, and scientists recently found evidence that it causes cancer in laboratory animals when ingested. It has been linked in animals to liver and kidney damage as well as leukemia, stomach cancer and other cancers.
Time to move into that bubble we purchased. If you just had a glass of tap you might as well have smoked a cigarette?

That’s why I always boil my water before I drink it. But if this is true, boiling probably won’t do much if there’s Fluoride in our water system.
Yeah boiling water won’t help. Boiling water is good for killing organisms that may be living in your water; it does nothing for non-living matter, such as chemicals and toxins. However, because of evaporation during boiling, you may end up with a higher concentration of chemicals in the boiled water that you drink.
It seems to be a lose-lose situation.
