A Boston couple’s wedding video has gone viral after they staged a flash mob at the Prudential Center mall in Boston. Caroline Turcksin and her 25-year old fiance Jon Kleiman invited 70 guests to the mall and just broke out into the ceremony causing random passer-bys in the mall to join in. Reports the Boston Herald:
Kleiman, who has been contacted to appear on national TV morning shows, said he had never before been in a flash mob —a gathering of people who spontaneously burst into song or dance — but they wanted something simple and original. “Life can be monotonous and dreary,” he said. “The whole idea of this wedding was to hit people with a little bit of magic when they least expected it.”
The couple’s “I Dos” — despite being set in a commercial mecca — were largely void of commercialism. The choirs sang for free. The bride spent $36 on her wedding dress and did her own hair and makeup. The couple, who are expecting their first child in March, shelled out less than $3,000 for a reception at the Lenox Hotel afterward.
No pressure for the first anniversary. Would you like a ceremony like this?
