Entertainment Weekly has just released this photo of Chris Evans as Captain America in the upcoming action movie.
The film takes place during WWII and will follow Cap’s escapades on the European battlefronts, including encountering a diabolical scientist Arnim Zola (played by Toby Jones) and an evil villain named Red Skull (played by Hugo Weaving). (FS)

Doesn’t look bad.. I’ve been looking forward to seeing how they are going to pull Captain America off without it looking corny. I can’t wait to see how they combine everything for The Avengers too.
I really hope this isnt corny…. And WHY did they pick Chris Evans?! He’s already Johnny or the human torch from Fantastic Four… they could have gotten someone else… he’s a mediocre actor at most…
They didn’t want to use him but then he showed up during casting calls and read. They decided he did a good job and gave him the role.

He doesn’t even look right for the role. Captain America always had a rugged look, he has the pretty boy look.
