It was revealed today on the Oprah Winfrey show that she has a half-sister that she never knew about named Patricia on her mothers side. Patricia was given up for adoption by Oprah’s mother Vernita when Oprah was nine years old. The two met at Thanksgiving last year. Good news!

I wonder how that worked out? It don’t seem like Oprah is that type of woman to just give you money cause your family. if anything she would ake care of the basics but she would still have to work for a living. No sitting on your ass asking for money when you run out.

Oprah was living with her father at the time in a different state. That’s why she didn’t know her. And the sister was BORN when Oprah was 9 so that doesn’t mean Oprah knew her for nine years…
