It was a joke. He’ll say what he needs to say to the world to give the illusion of listening to the people, then go back to his own agenda like he always does. Prove me wrong.
here’s a better question. what would you do differently as president – and explain your policy.
I think the US has changed, the state governments have lost enormous amounts of power and have become a drain on their own economies. I think this happened for a reason, the world is smaller and now the federal government is more equipped to reach the needs of the citizens. There is no longer a divide between north and south or east and west, we are one nation with common needs. I believe we need a united, national plan moving forward, one that is free of the state governments taking tax dollars off the top. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a socialist I don’t think we should nationalize anything that isn’t already provided by the state. I just feel the federal government would do a better job. I can’t help but loathe the time and money spent by companies complying with different regulations in every state. Health (yes health), safety, education, and common needs thats it.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely agree that we need to cut fat and lower government spending and taxes concurrently.
But I know there’s no way you were able to grasp anything that I just said.

Even the republicans don’t use the word anymore because there is no credibility in using it. Even they agree that obama saved us from the 2nd great depression.

The recession has been called “the economic downturn” if you have not noticed. For the weak minded to believe this is not so bad. Millions of jobs have been lost since he was elected. job loss continues. Crime is up. Where is that hope and change you voted for? Why are the troops not home? He used that for your vote. Where is all the war protests? Lies, Lies, and more lies. Dude is scary. This country is headed to have and have nots. He is purposely bankrupting this country. This is the worst our country has been in in our lifetime and it is getting worse. He is all about the New World Order at our cost. My tax money should not bail out other states and industries failures. His policies cant pay for themselves when everyone is unemployed and cant pay taxes to support this B.S. Bring home the troops and jobs. It is that easy. He needs to stop lying to the people. Just like Bush. Quit being brainwashed. Saying what you want to hear and really saving our country is two different things. Just Do It Like Nike and quit lying.
JFK had the best line for this country…’ask not what the country can do for you but what you can do for your country’. the answer isn’t in a few pieces of policy or self-interested politicians the answer is in the people doing for themselves and not relying on politicians to deliver up their pie in the sky.

Barack the Truth. This was my first time watching the State of The Union Address and I say it was great. Nothing really specific, but the points and his agenda sounded good. Hopefully they all come through for us in a cool, deliberate manner.
