It’s the end of a big ugly era as Volvo, the company most associated with station wagons has announced it will no longer be selling them in the United States. This after the company only sold 480 of their V50 cars last year which amounted to about two per dealer. People are apparently leaving the station wagon for SUV’s, Minivans and crossover vehicles.
But realistically if you drive a station wagon you’re probably not reading this…..or are you?

STOP THE INSANITY!! Crossovers are the new station wagon. I’m sure Volvo has a crossover or two in their lineup.

Yeah but they’re not selling it in North America. That said, they still sell the XC70 here which is a jacked up wagon. Crossovers are bullshit. Real men drive wagons and real men drive manual transmissions. Fuck automatics!
Plus Acura just released their first ever wagon… the Acura TSX which is the Japanese/European Accord.
