Wow! This guy is one of our favorite reggae artists and we’ve been following the trial for over the year, here’s the report from Go Jamaica:
Buju was found guilty on conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine. He was also found guilty for attempting to possess five kilograms or more of cocaine. He was found guilty for aiding and abetting others in using a communication facility in the commission of a felony. He was found not guilty for knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm in furtherance of and during the course of a drug-trafficking crime.
This trial, which began on February 14, was the second attempt of the US government to convict the Jamaican artist. A first trial last year was declared a mistrial after jurors failed to arrive at a unanimous position.
No sentence yet, but as we last heard he was facing LIFE!!!

okay it doesnt matter whether he is homophobic or not it does not give those jurors and prosecutors the right to conspire to have someone arrested and thrown in jail just because he is anti something. i suppose one could find them guilty for conspiracy too, would those of you who are homosexuals and lesbians like to be imprsioned becuz of your sexual orientation? i think not so why shld someone be locked up becus he sings or speaks against that practice? what happened to freeedom of speech> what gives america the right to lock up any body for drug trafficking? if tthere were no markets there would be no sellers. plain and simple. send buju hme if you dont want him in your country but dont lock him up for 15 – 20 years out of spite. who will win in the end? what gratification will it gain you? if you silence him now dont you think others will rise up to take his place in condemning the lifestyle? god is the only judge let him do his work!!

There’s a difference between getting caught with a “personal” stash and getting caught with a “suppliers” stash. Gays have nothing to do with it, its the LAW. But gays have every right to be glad that he’s going down, for goodness sakes he promoted killing them just for being gay.
