She’s a very genuine/sensitive person. Also, I believe the whole point of “shutting” someone’s dream down by eliminating them just breaks her internally due to the fact she knows how it feels to not make it through at the beginning. She probably can relate OR she just really felt guilty for shattering his dreams to sing on the show. Either way, I know she will be a trooper and withstand this minor obstacle of picking the top 24.
