I am a huge Lupe fan, but I must say, this is his worst album. Im not sure why all the R&B collabos, but it is horrible…

Despite his never ending complaints and constant pouting, I still like Lupe and wanna see him succeed. I hope the ablum goes platinum and pushes him to finally realize his full well rounded potential.

it’s definitely a poppier album than his previous two, but I still dig it cuz his lyrical substance is still on game.

agreed, the album does have more of a commercial sound to it but nonetheless Lupe still delivers killers verses! The R&B collabos on the album may bother true Lupe fans but for the ‘Soulja Boys’ out there who can’t take SLR(super Lupe rap), might have recognized something new.

The lyrics on this album are ok. However, the beats are too mainstream (not all) and hooks are just all the same. But hey this is Atlantic album and lupe’s. Wait till his next independent album.

Overall this album worth listening but it sure ain’t Food & Liquor

Congrats to him for the big sales & debuting at number one. True the album is a lot more mainstream then his previous two albums, but it’s Atlantics album not his. I reckon he got big number because his fan base has slowly built up over the years. His last album went gold(in the states) which is good these days, hopefully he can go platinum(states) with this one. One of the few mc’s these days where I’ll buy there album.

I bought the CD, but it is evident that the label forced him to put certain songs on the album.
