Legendary Actress Elizabeth Taylor Passes Away At 79

by admin on 03/23/2011 · 7 comments

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of actress Eizabeth Taylor, who passed away this morning due to congestive heart failure at age 79.  Taylor was an Academy Award winning actress known for her role as Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and was also known for her eight marriages – twice of which were to her Cleopatra co-star Richard Burton.  And every woman has probably owned her fragrance White Diamonds at some point in there lives, which seemed like it was the first highly successful celebrity fragrance.  May Dame Elizabeth Rest In Peace!

did yall know, When Mike passed she denied his family permission to use her image on his album cover. Madonna did too. After everything he did for both of them.

He died in a controversial way. She also did things for him, while he was great in his own right….she named him the king of pop…it accelerated his base and it stuck. She in no way contributed to the fantastic appeal that he had and his undeniable talent, his friendship certainly elevated him into to some circles that black folks were not allowed into during that time.
Her face or Madonna’s on his album cover is irrelevant and shouldn’t even have been suggested. What was the need? The only necessity in that would have been if they were looking to elevate their own careers. They are icons in the own rite, so again this was unnecessary.
Madonna has publically acknowledged the friendship and relationship, as well as, Liz Taylor. Not using their image to sell records is in no way denying what they were to each other.
