I agree with the statement from Thandi Chimurenga, Communications Director for Black Women for Wellness. I copied and pasted this response from another website:
Thandi Chimurenga exprssed her concerns about the Black Christian, pro-life movement and its ties to a conservative republican movement in this country that does not care one whit about the Black babies who are already here! Ms. Chimurenga believes that the “Endangered” campaign is backed by some of the same forces that were behind a recently passed house amendment that aims to strip Planned Parenthood of any federal funding. “It’s not just about abortion with them,” she said. “That’s just one peg in their plan to destroy grassroots organizations, the poor and folks of color. “We are concerned about the alignment of Black pro-life groups with these Republicans,” Chimurenga added. “It’s disingenuous and insulting that Black women are being accused of genocide, when in reality, these people could be the purveyors of genocide against black people.
how about this?
a class in junior high school called “pussy management”. So that girls – by the time they hit 13 are taught effective strategies to manage their pussies.
condoms work. hormonal birth control works.
i am pro-choice but would personally never get an abortion if i were a woman. it actually scares me that i’m meeting women whom i deem potential lifelong partners who have literal skeletons in the closet.
this to me – for black people is exactly about genocide. abortions decrease future fertility and increases risks of reproductive failure in the future – in addition to increased risks of adverse affects to future fetuses. this is literally population control for hte black population – it’s the equivalent of spaying and neutering.
stop it. just stop it.
to be real. i think with my dick a lot. i see women who i have no business sticking my dick in but who are sexy as fuck. and i say to myself – what if she gets pregnant?
so my new strategy is that i never have sex with a woman unless i can see myself actually having a baby with her and somehow making it work.
the result? i have sex way fucking less. you’d be surprised how few women pass the life-partner test. but the upside – when i do have sex the woman is dope – and i’m so backed up that i’m blowing her out. so now i don’t have sex with 10-15 different women – but rather two different women who are phenomenal that i can’t choose between.
the game has changed – but it’s the culture of being single that needs to be changed so that there is a natural reduction in the production of unwanted fetuses. at least for black people.
Got vasectomy?
Lol I agree with all the comments in someway…
But really, why all this? I just don’t get it, isn’t it way easier and less controversial to promote safe sex?
Nobody wants to talk about sex/safe sex but everyone is jumping on the abortion bandwagon and getting all fired up.
It seems like we’re pretending that we’re all having protected sex or saying it is cool to have unprotected sex as long as you ABORT or DON’T abort the child (depending on which side you’re on)
Because really all this is like legalizing weed and then ironically making getting high illegal. Anyone REALLY against abortion should push to make unprotected sex illegal.
Like really, don’t hate the player, hate the game! Who’s with me on this one?
I agree with the above comment here, in that I think the focus should be on preventative measures first. Why are so many people having unprotected sex, and with unsuitable partners?
Agree 10000% WHY ARE SO MANY PPL having sex with UNSUITABLE partners??? This is something won’t understand, I don’t care if I live to be 100 yrs. old, SMDH
Its Barak Obama that sponsors the damn abortions
