Say Goodbye To The Flip Cam!

by admin on 04/12/2011 · 3 comments

Cisco has announced that they will no longer produce the popular Flip Cam’s any longer, but will continue to provide support for the units already sold. Cisco bought the makers of the Flip Cam (Pure Digital) in 2009 for a whopping $590 Million – but in just two years they made the decision to discontinue the cameras. Plans for a Wi-Fi version were floating around, but looks like we can forget about that for now.

Will you miss ‘em? Do you own one?
