Jerry Seinfeld KILLS The Royal Family, Not Literally

by admin on 04/19/2011 · 11 comments

Ha!  Tell ‘em Jerry, we don’t care in the good ole’ US of A!  Here’s what the comedian said in a recent interview on a British morning show about all the fuss around the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton:

“It’s a classic English thing of let’s play dress-up. Let’s pretend these are special people. The Royal Family is a huge game of pretend.  These aren’t special people – it’s fake outfits, fake hats and gowns.  It’s fantastic. We don’t have anything like that.”

Understandably Piers Morgan and other Brits did not like this see what Piers had to say after the jump.

“He’s just jealous because he doesn’t have a royal family in this country. He wants one. He’s obviously lost all touch with his romantic side. He’s OK. He’s had better years. If this is where he’s got to now, maybe he should hang up his comedic boots. The royal family’s the greatest family in the world. It’s going to be the greatest day on earth.”

I do not care about them and I did not care when Diana passed.

i dont care about the wedding stuff either- but diana passing really was tragic. She did so much for aids charities, etc. in the 90s… somebody dying at that age is always a tragedy, regardless.

Seinfeld is 100%.

What makes these people so special???? nothin’–that’s what. It’s not like this current family ever actually ran anything. they need to just be beheaded and that’ll be the end of that ‘i’m better than you cause I’m royalty sh*t!’.

“He’s just jealous…” begins Piers retort. Is he serious? He sounds like a five year old kid. Anytime anyone makes a point about a young child they respond with “you’re just jealous.” I can’t believe a grown, quasi-famous, man actually said that. And then, as if that juvenile reply wasn’t bad enough, Morgan displays his sad devotion to the absurd idea that one’s parents having sex makes them superior by slobbering all over the “Royal family.” He closed with the myopic claim that a man–by the grace of pure chance–is two generations from wearing a pointless crown–getting married will “be the greatest day on earth.” How lonely and bored must you be to believe that a wedding is “going to be the greatest day on earth?”
