Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family brought a lot of people to the theater with $25.7 Million in ticket sales opening weekend to land at #2 at the box-office. Rio held on to the #1 spot for a second week in a row with $26.8 Million in sales this weekend.

Surprised at the low ratings. Saw it last night. Shit was MAD FUNNY. Teyana looked pretty delicious as well.
Not a huge fan of Tyler Perry’s work… But I love to see other black man being productive in the film industry so I won’t knock him… There is an audience for his work and he always seems to put a message in the mix.
I think his best movie was “Why Did I Get Married” and I won’t even start to discuss my disgust in part II of the movie…
But I digress….
I may see this movie, but probably not anytime soon. And more than likely on Netflix.
On another note, I have taken my daughter to see Rio twice… its a great movie…
Lots of our people working… Jamie Foxx, Will.i.am, Geroge Lopez, Sergio Mendes, Ester Dean, Taio Cruz, and the list goes on…
Either way you are supporting the arts, so go out and see what you like….
