Lil B’s ‘I’m Gay’ Album Cover Surfaces

by admin on 06/15/2011 · 11 comments

Lil’ B pays tribute to Marvin Gaye with his “I’m Gay (I’m Happy)” album cover image which was revealed today on the Internets.  The album bares a striking resemblance to Marvin’s I Want You album cover and the title references the original meaning of Gay – Happy.  You Buying LIFERS?

See Marvin Gaye’s old album cover after the jump.

It’s cool, It’s artistic, the wording is crazy… Crazy in a Lil B is actually trying to make a change way… Or I’m not reading this correctly.

Too bad the music on this piece of shit cd won’t be comparable to the late great Marvin Gaye in way shape or form. As a matter of fact this cd cover is dam near blasphemy.

nah. He’s trying to capitalize on the shock value of it all. There is better ways of using the word gay in reference to what it originally meant “happy”. But, I guess, if you listen to his music, his body of work, it’s all about self-indulgence anyway, so that makes him happy I suppose.
