Beautiful cover… :)

I give Kelly a lot of credit for the never say die attitude and her ability to “successfully survive” without B. Wouldn’t this be a worlds first, for the “backup singer” to surpass the lead vocalist in a solo career? awesome. couldn’t tell you one song of hers, but her presence is undeniable.

shouldn’t sound so disparaging… not buying cd’s or music in general, or simply not supporting things that you’d like to see more of only guarantees the things that you like won’t be around much longer… which would make our world a pretty boring place. People “get rich” because they develop a product other people like… don’t hate, participate. Or come up with your own million dollar idea :)

your lesson on capitalism for the day!

Yup, I agree w/ both of you. I refuse to buy a Rhianna/Beyonce/Gaga/Britney Spears (don’t judge me) album because they don’t need it. But I draw the line at certain artists and refuse to go the bootleg/download route: E. Badu, Jill Scott, Talib and Mos Def. I think the market needs as many consious artists as possible.

Reminds me a lot of Alicia Key’s album cover for “As I Am”, but it’s still very beautiful. I like it.
