Finally… Some Good News For Foxy Brown!

by admin on 07/12/2011 · 3 comments

Foxy Brown is all smiles today as she left Brooklyn Criminal Court after charges of her violating parole for mooning her neighbor were officially dropped.

The Brooklyn district attorney’s criminal case against Foxy Brown collapsed Tuesday after the victim refused to testify that she was mooned by the rap diva.

Brown, 32, whose real name is Inga Marchand, hugged her lawyers after Justice John Walsh dismissed the misdemeanor charge of violating an order of protection.

Assistant District Attorney Robert Isdith said complainant Arlene Raymond told him late last week that she did not want to take the stand at the trial scheduled to begin Tuesday in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

A source familiar with the case said Raymond told prosecutors that her lawyer had concluded there was no money to be made by suing Brown so she did not want to cooperate any further in the criminal case.

Hopefully Foxy celebrates by heading to the studio and recording new music.
