Fellas if you like wearing your jeans and pants in the same fashion as the image above – you may not want to venture to Collinsville, Illinois anytime soon. The city council has officially banned saggy pants with first time offenders getting fined $100 dollars and second time offenders $300 dollars plus 40-hours of community service.
The City Council in the southwestern Illinois community voted 3-2 on Monday to ban saggy pants. The Belleville News-Democrat reports the ordinance forbids pants that ride lower than 3 to 4 inches below the waistline of the underwear. A first offense is punishable with a $100 fine, while a second offense would carry a $300 fine plus 40 hours of community service.
The ordinance was passed over the objections of City Manager Bob Knabel, who argued that enforcing it would sidetrack police officers from more important issues.

Fuck their city council, enforcing this law is a violation of civil rights and will eventually be overturned.

Every state should enforce that law. Sagging ur jeans is by far the stupidest fashion statement ever created. Jeans aren’t meant to be worn below ur ass and people should have to see ur boxers/underwear all out in the open,
So you really want the government sanctioning the way people dress. You may not like someones fashion statements but the government should have no hand in telling people what to wear.
I never get why people are so willing to throw their civil rights away. We live in a wonderfully free country were we get to live and dress in the manner we choose. If you let the government take away someones right to were they’re pants how they want because you don’t like it then it sets a president and opens the door for them to start taking away something you may like doing….this whole thing it stupid anyway any lawyer worth his salt could get this law overturned in there sleep it’s clear unconstitutional.
