Is Bjork’s New Album Release The Future Of Music?

by admin on 07/22/2011 · 5 comments

Bjork talks about her new album that she is releasing through an App in the latest issue of Billboard music?  This might just be the direction that the music industry will be going in – in terms of digital releases.

Bjork is the original Lady Gaga, gotta love her. She was freakin’ amazing in “Dancer In the Dark” – that is all.

I understand what you mean, Spadaque, but it kind of hurt my soul to see Björk in the same sentence as the likes of Lady Gaga :-(

That said, I feel like Björk was the original of much of the “innovation” in popular music for the last 15 years. She’s almost a school of thought.

the future? i’m surprised that in 2011 this isn’t the norm.

-sell app for free—->$4.99 depending on how popular an artist you are.

-all exclusive content – videos, BTS, photo shoots, interviews, press releases, and of course new music comes to app owners first. include video chat function so app owners can participate in weekly/monthly video chat contest.

-app owners get early announcements for shows/tour dates so they can get tickets first.

-PROFIT

that’s how i would do it. of course i can’t sing or rap.
