According to NME mag:
Amy Winehouse’s dedication not only to living every word and every note of her songs to the full, but to total, naked honesty was a rare inspiration in pop.
Following the sad news of her death, NME pays our respects to a true icon and the most talented singer in a generation over 10 pages of classic and unseen images, heartfelt tributes and enduring memories of a daring talent whose life ended far, far too soon.

RIP. Good cover
a crack whore dies. everyone boo whoo, like we didnt laugh at her when she was alive. hypocrits
yeah people may have laughed, out of ignorance, the inability to handle the situation, or even out of the mere fact that we denied what we were seeing and saw what we wanted to see – a person who does have a problem but we believed would get better. we all do stupid things and mess up, but that doesn’t take away the LOVE you have for someone/one of Gods children. who cares whether the people now crying for her, once laughed, they aren’t laughing anymore and may have learned a lesson to stand up to help those with an addiction. Millions of people loved Amy Winehouse, a true tragedy she’s gone, her voice was like an Angel. God gave us an amazing person with an amazing voice and the evils in the world tore it apart.
we love u Amy and miss you tons! you’re music/stories/life saved and inspired so many people. thank you.
Beautiful
