Amy Winehouse launched a collection with Fred Perry in previous years and the British fashion label has now decided to release the next Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection.
“After much consideration and with the blessing of Amy’s family”, the brand announced this morning. Winehouse’s royalties and fees from both collections will be donated to the soon-to-be-established Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also make a seasonal donation to the Foundation.”
“When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue,” Winehouse’s father Mitch said in a statement. “Amy loved working on both collections and would want them to be made available. All the money we make and the donation that Fred Perry will give will go straight into to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which we are setting up to help children and young people in her name.”
