We broke the news on Monday morning that the Watch The Throne album set iTunes sales history with over 290,000 digital albums sold in the first week – and now Jay-Z and Kanye West top the Billboard 200 charts with the total units sold (digital +physical) for their collaborative album at 436,000. Not bad. Not bad at all!

The album didn’t hit me like I thought it was going to, regardless of the hype. I like some of the songs, but the overall product was okay. But this is why it should have stayed an EP or even drop it as a mixtape then put it on iTunes/Amazon
Decent effort… not so much the unforgettable instant classic it was hailed to be. Their individual solo efforts are still the most acclaimed products imo.
