by admin on 08/22/2011 · 7 comments

Conan The Barbarian starring Jason Momoa ONLY raked in $10 Million dollars at the box-office this weekend landing at #4 – with The Help coming in at #1 after two weeks in theaters and Rise of The Planet of the Apes coming in at #2.

Nobody has love for Conan The Barbarian…. in 3D?

I wouldn’t have gone to see that if someone bought me a ticket and I had nothing to do the entire day.

Can’t be lack of Arnold: Predators did well. Can’t be because it’s a remake: Clash of the Titans did well. Can’t be because it’s in August: Planet of the Apes did well. Can’t be because Conan isn’t a sellable brand: the comics and games are doing well.

I blame horrendous marketing and a sub-par product.
