A 36-year old woman named Jessica Beagley will be on probation for the next three years and narrowly escaped jail time, receiving a 180 day suspended sentence and $2,500 suspended fine, after submitting footage of herself punishing her child with hot sauce to the Dr. Phil show. According to news reports, after seeing Dr. Phil’s “Angry Moms” show in 2009, Jessica submitted footage showing her yelling at one of the 7-year old Russian twins she and her husband had adopted, but producers said they needed to see footage of punishment. Jessica eventually submitted the footage above which shows how she placed hot sauce in the bathroom before bringing her son in and forcing him to drink the hot sauce as punishment for getting in trouble in school.

I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous…
She made him hold it in his mouth for a while, and then swallow it. She also forced him to take a cold shower…. the little boy was screaming bloody murder. I think she went a little to far. I believe in spanking your child. Spank him and get it over with but continuous torture is not necessary. Most children will forget a spanking, he undoubtely will rember this torture for the rest of his life.
