56-year-old Jean Beliveau has just returned to his mother, girlfriend and two children in Montreal after taking off on a run after his 45th birthday in August of 2000. It all started when Jean’s neon sign business went bankrupt so he decided to go on a run – to Georgia – which eventually led him to keep going and travel some 75,000 kilometers across the globe in 11 years. During his journey Jean stayed with 1,600 families.
Somebody get this guy a pedicure! He went through 54 shoes.
