I wish more “real” black women represented this character. I’m sick of the LOUD, DISRESPECTFUL, MASCULINE, WELFARE QUEENS that now represent a large segment (not all) of the black female population. If more young black women strived to be like Michelle Obama, than the basketball wives, the black population would be a better place. Advertisers are doing blacks a favor by not representing us we these nasty, vile, 8th grade education, hood bitches. Black Family….wake up!

LMAO @ “And I’m always dressed like Denise Huxtable”
that is true, the Denise Huxtable when she went to Hillman.
& it’s true about there can only be one black woman. What is that about ?
The aiming at an Urban Audience is correct, (i.e. McDonalds McCafe commercials with the black woman sipping an ice coffee) -__-

This couldn’t be more dead on. And @Chun you are correct. I would also add that blacks should consider reading the news, and learning about the world. Oppose to knowing about every rap song that just dropped. Also the “masculine” theme of Amber Rose bald heads needs to come to a halt. Including wanting to be a rapper. Go to college and get an education.

How would you want black women portrayed in commercials? Normal maybe… and what is that then? We pigeon hole ourselves into categories and deep down… we like that, makes us feel individual.

Why is it that black women dont realize that the “LOUD, DISRESPECTFUL, MASCULINE, WELFARE QUEEN” is a stereotype that the white media has started. More black women go to college then black men but black men are not portrayed that way. So now the white media wants us to get with a more muti-cultural image. Dont get caught up!
