The City Of Milwaukee REALLY Doesn’t Want You To Sleep With Your Baby

You as a parent would be the butcher knife……is it that bad!?

Sadly 11/14/2011 at 2:49 PM: I live in Milw… Almost a yr ago my sister fell asleep w/ her baby on a couch n my niece passed. That’s when I found out how often this was happening…. Very sad, very real.

Sweetsay 11/14/2011 at 2:54 PM: I have two young boys(4 yrs and 8 mos) I do believe it is that bad. My sons have always slept in their own beds / cribs. On a couple of occasions ( when they have been sick) they have slept with my husband and I. Rolling over and smothering your child is very real and has happend more than most people think. On one occasion after a long restless night with my oldest son ( he was a baby then) i woke up to find my husbands pillow over my son’s head. He was so deep in sleep he did not know he was almost smothering him.

I am sure that this sort of scary situation have happened to alot of parents. Hopefully it has ended well (like mine) and has scared most parents into change.
