Don’t do drugs kids, or bleach, police officers says they are seeing an increase in the amount of teens who have been hospitalized after drinking bleach in hopes of beating urine tests most commonly used by employers and sports teams. Mobile County Sheriff Joe Mahoney reveals that new testing sure to be used nationwide can now detect many of the tricks people have used to dupe the tests in the past:
Mahoney said wreaking havoc on your insides is all bleach will do. Drug tests have gotten sophisticated and can determine the presence of foreign chemicals. “Specific gravity tests will let us know the urine is not just pure urine coming from the body or if these other compounds are present or if there is a tremendous amount of water in the system where they’ve tried to flush the system,” said Mahoney.

it’s not stupid. drug users are more likely to have money problems and are thus prone to theft of merchandise and money. also, their drug use drops productivity and makes them more error prone in work related situations.
finally, drug use makes them more prone to work related accidents – which increases workplace liability.

Smh…sounds like we need to start doing PSA’s about Kids not drinking bleach instead of not doing drugs.
